how on earth do you upload your artwork scans so well? i assumed you use a scanner for youe hand-drawings?

because when i scan my copic marker drawings the blace lineart always looks faded or lighter/greyed out and not bold black like it should be ugh...

(i do try to fix it with adjusting the brightness levels post-scanning)
