To begin with. The Card Design itself is nothing short of impressive. The Synchro Rings themselves symbolising the Minimum Requirements necessary for the Synchro Summoning of this particular Monster. That is, the white ring for the Tuner and the black rings for the Non-Tuners.

While the colourings for the Monster aid in this respect as well. Darker blues and black as opposed to the light blue and white that is normally seen with Stardust Monsters serving to illustrate the fact that this is of the Dark Attribute. Whereas Stardust Monsters are usually of the Wind or Light Attribute. Granting an appearance that is greater in terms of malevolence and fear. A can't help but think that there's a design cue taken from Tech Genus Halberd Cannon insofar at the face is concerned.

The Effects of the Monster itself are, unique, to say the least. With a requirement of drawing a fixed number of cards and activating an effect based on what was drawn. And with only two of the effects being directly beneficial to yourself, it is something, of a double-edged sword.

Normally, given its difficult summoning conditions, this would see the card being deemed severely underpowered. However, its ability to summon Shooting Star Dragon the instant it leaves the field more than compensates for this.

If I had to be critical of something. It's the simple fact that this has been done, a lot. So this is a far from original concept. Fortunately, the balanced effects and interesting Monster and Background designs are more than sufficient to place this one near the top.

All in all. This is pretty damn good! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
